On the occasion of the Feast of the Apostles, we present this spiritual hymn inspired by the story of Saints Peter and Paul, whom God chose to be apostles of the faith, and who persevered in their struggle until they received the crown of apostleship and the crown of martyrdom. The words of the hymn reflect on God's wondrous wisdom, and how He chooses the weak to be glorified through them, and transforms human lives by His grace, as He did with Peter the fisherman, and with Saul, the persecutor of the Church, who became the chosen vessel, the Apostle Paul. "You have chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise." We ask God to grant us a living faith, steadfastness on His path, and to bless our lives through the intercession and message of His holy apostles, Peter and Paul.
