Mi Estrategia para Retirar Dinero y Vivir de mis Inversiones. ¿Estrategia de 3 cubos?

#FinancialFreedom, #Investment, #Retirement Achieving financial freedom is an incredible milestone, but how do we manage and withdraw our money so we can live off it without depleting it? After years of investing, the crucial moment of divestment arrives, and the strategy you choose is essential for your peace of mind. In this video, I analyze one of the most recognized strategies for the retirement phase: the "Three Bucket Strategy," popularized by experts such as Harold Evensky and Christine Benz. I'll explain what each "bucket" consists of: Bucket 1: A fund to cover your expenses for the first few years (1-4 years) with very low-risk assets such as money market funds. Bucket 2: A mixed portfolio (60% stocks, 40% fixed income) to cover the next 4-8 years. Bucket 3: The long-term growth engine, with high exposure to the stock market (95%). The logic behind this 8-year structure is based on historical market data, which shows that even the worst downturns have tended to recover within that period. In addition, I share my personal experience applying a simplified version of the 2-bucket model, the challenges I faced, such as the difficulty of deciding which assets to sell during rebalancing, and the headaches the tactical portfolio created for me. Based on my learning and experience, I present my current optimized strategy, which is also based on 2 buckets but with key modifications: Bucket 1 (4 years of expenses): Only filled when the market is at all-time highs. Bucket 2 (Long-Term): 100% indexed for maximum simplicity. The Differentiating Factor: The addition of "good debt" (such as Lombardo loans) to cover expenses during market downturns, thus avoiding having to sell your assets at the worst possible time. This approach seeks to simplify management, reduce stress, and protect your wealth over the long term. I hope my experience helps you design your own retirement strategy!
