Taking a crane to it's limits - crane jib installation
To The Top Crane | Building a 310 foot tall cell tower with the Tadano 180g-5. The crane boom length was 320 feet with a tip height of 330 feet. We achieve these heights by using 197 feet of main boom length and 123 feet of jib length. This is the longest boom length available with this crane. Based on the boom configuration, every lift was almost at capacity. Definitely no room for error of any kind.
