Part 3 RD 350 Crank Build
In this stage I show the light cleaning of the older components to be re-used, the rebuild. Using my own tried and tested methods whilst using high accuracy tools to get the desired results, there are many other ways of doing this proceedure, this is how I do it, the end results speak for themselves. Using a high quality magnetic V Block and a percise platform to work upon frees up the hands on experience, the magnet holds everything in place leaving the operators hands free to control other vital attributes whilst things are initially going together. Many end shafts are often damaged and or slightly out of true due to operater error in taking things apart, so doing things between the outer centres is not always viable, so I have several other ways to check balance as shown in other videos. Thank you for watching.
