In Jesus’ parable of the workers in the vineyard, the same reward is given whether someone follows God their whole life or turns to Him in their final moments. By human standards, that seems unfair—but the gospel runs on grace. We’re reminded of the thief on the cross, who followed Jesus for only moments yet entered paradise that very day. Meanwhile, many who appear outwardly good still reject Christ and miss the salvation they assume they have. But the message doesn’t stop there.
