How to Plumb & Wire a Jerry Can Van Sink System (12V Pump + Tap Setup) | Ford Transit Van Build In this episode, I install the full plumbing + wiring for my van sink using a jerry can water storage setup (2 × fresh water, 1 × grey water) stored under the sink cabinet. I lay out the entire system step-by-step, show the exact plumbing order from jerry can → strainer → pump → tap, and wire the pump back to my dual battery with the correct wire size, fuse protection, and an isolating rocker switch on the front of the cabinet. This one took me weeks of research to find the right fittings and make a system that’s simple, serviceable, and actually works in a tight cabinet space.
