Lost Wanchai: Walking the Oldest Street in Hong Kong.

Welcome back to another 'Coasty Explores.' Following on from my Queen's Rd West episode, I now venture east from Admiralty to Happy Valley to seek out the history along Queen's Rd East and the roads that intersect. Back in 1841 when the British occupied Hong Kong Island, there were only one or two dwellings in Wan Chai. The larger settlements were in Happy Valley and on the south side of the island so I pick up with the history of this area from 1841. Please support the channel by liking and subscribing.
