School Summer Vacation Extension Decision Left to District Collectors Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond has shared an important update regarding the reopening of schools after summer vacation. Schools are scheduled to reopen on June 18, but the final decision on extending holidays has been left to respective district collectors. The minister stated that if extreme heat and humidity conditions persist, collectors can extend the vacation in the interest of students’ health.
