Living The Van Life Back in Iowa - Amana Colonies and RV Park (EPISODE 246) ℹ️ About this episode: On this episode of Livin' Our Vision (LivinRVision), we are heading back to Iowa. Our first overnight stay starts in Davenport, Iowa at the Rhythm City Casino and Resort. We ended up staying here for a couple nights before making our way to the Amana Colonies. Any time we travel I-80 and are going to be passing by the World’s Largest Truck Stop, we always have to stop and that’s what we did. If you like Buc-ees then you’ll want to stop at the I-80 Trucks stop, aka The World’s Largest Truck Stop. It was time to head to the Amana Colonies but it was gong to be too late to start exploring, so we made a reservation in advance to stay the night at the Amana RV Park & Event Center. We decided to save a little bit of money and just pay for electric and water with no sewer, simply because we could just drive over to the dump station and empty the tanks. (We give a few tips throughout this video, so be sure not to miss anything). The next morning comes and it is time to explore the Amana Colonies to eat some delicious food a rhubarb slushy and then learn about the history of the Amana Colonies. We were both born and raised in Iowa and we both had it ALL wrong about the Amana Colonies.
