The Barrel Hitch
In this video I'll go over how to attach a mantie when using a decker pack saddle on a horse or mule using a barrel hitch. I'll cover why I use this hitch and how to tie it. The goal of my how to series is to team equine enthusiast and backcountry horsemen the skills needed to pack stock in the mountains. I cover the different hitches and how to adjust the load to ride well going down the trail.
