Beauty in my scars

We all have scars and we tend to hide our internal scars very very well behind our smiles, but how do you live when your scars are external and everywhere you go people wonder and some ask "What happened" We sit with Loide (Lolo) Ndemueda, who is the founder and an activist of #ifoundbeautyinmyscars, at 13 years old she was burned in a fire that has led to years of reconstructive surgery and significant scarring. This incident has fuelled her dedication to advocacy and community support. She currently advocates for people living with disabilities and also addresses issues of Gender based violence and Femicide. Her purpose is to help people find healing and to be the voice for the 17 others who were allegedly killed in the same fire she survived.
