Bemrose Knights: Creating a Response to Alex Wheatle's Crongton Knights - Reimagine Documentary

The work features students from the Apple Tree Unit at Bemrose School, Derby, collaborating with a professional creative team to explore the themes of the book. As part of the ‘Reimagine’ project, the students worked alongside Community and Learning Associate, Tom Craig (Derby Theatre), Rapper/Musician Zeo Richards (Baby People), Freelance Filmmaker, Omar Khan, and Photographer Robert Day. The film and photographs were intended to be exhibited at Derby Theatre during the opening performance of Pilot Theatre Company's stage adaptation of 'Crongton Knights'. During the performance section of this film, the students are portraying fictional roles based upon the characters within the Crongton Knights novel/script. Delivered and produced by Tom Craig and filmed by Omar Khan.
