'' a day in the life of country joe & the fish '' - film 1967.

~ First off i have to thank a friend of the channel marc from '67psych3' who has kindly let me share this with you....please check out his amazing channel of rare and sometimes first time uploads to youtube...this wonderful look at the fish was directed by oakland resident robert zagone who played quite apart in the burgeoning san francisco music and counterculture scene of the mid-late sixties and beyond...this was filmed at the saulsalito heliport where the band stored equipment and rehearsed...interviews & rehearsals with band members and fabulous behind the scenes look at what it takes to be a band...i understand from marc that it was broadcast by KQED t.v.9th december '67...zagone would film so much happening in the haight and golden gate park and examples would be : golden gate park '66 featuring the steve miller band and mimi farina/the human be-in '67/drugs in the tenderloin '67 and the infamous bob dylan press conference of '65 plus the west pole '68 documentary/a night at the family dog 1970/go ride the music '69 for ralph j gleason and many more....so glad i've finally added this to the channel and thanx again to marc at 67psych3....
