The Blessing Dance (Logos)

http://www.ccamvision.org "The Blessing Dance," performed on June 8, 2013, at Logos International School in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is a traditional Khmer classical dance, originally performed in the palace of the ancient Angkor kings, and still performed today all over Cambodia to bless the beginning of important events. In this CCAMS version, the song lyrics have been adapted for the Christian context by Noren Vann Kim, based on Psalm 103:1. See the English translation of the song lyrics below. THE BLESSING DANCE Psalm 103:1 1. We bless You, Lord, for Your victory, On behalf of all faithful Christians; Oh, Lord Jesus, we want to give you joy, Because You died on the cross to save us. 2. We dance and sprinkle flowers of blessing For Your honor, power, and glory; May Your kingdom come soon So that our enemy cannot overcome us. 3. We also sprinkle flowers of blessing On behalf of all of God's people, That they may receive all the good gifts Sent down from our Father in Heaven.
