Make this bucket holder, see below. The Bucket Stops Here. DIY Tips: the aluminum extruded channel is a 1/2 inch slot. The leg is longer than 1/2 inch and shorter than 3/4". The plywood is 19/32, or 23/32" thick. Chisel, file, saw, or sand the ends down to fit in the channel leaving a 3/16" gap for the straps to slide into. Holes sizes are 3/16" diameter and you can use a larger drill. Between left and right boards, leave a 3/6" gap for the straps to slide. Your screws are 1/2" length #6 pointed screws. Use whatever screws you have that is 1/2" long and pointed. Round the edges of the wood. Round the exits of the channel where the straps exit. Incidentally, the plywood I use are from discarded mattress supports and I just cut them to length about 9" long or so. The aluminum channel is cut so there is at least 1/2" clearance for the strap to wrap around the bucket. Try to assemble the straps, the guide strap at the same time you install the channel to the plywood. If you notice there is a 3/16" drilled hole in the center of the channel. That is so you can guide a strap using a nail later on, you will see. The buckles are 1/2 poly strap buckles that you buy 50 to a bag on ebay.
