It collapsed due to a strong storm on the night of 2 June 2026 at around 12 o’clock midnight. This tower was very tall and could be seen from far away. For many years, it stood as a famous landmark and identity of the area. A local person, who used to travel for college in that period, wrote in a Facebook post that the construction of this tower was ongoing in 1982. Nawaz Dahri Railway Station was closed in 1997, but the tower remained standing in its place until it was brought down by the severe storm of 2026.
