Having devoted the previous lecture to presenting the strongest biblical case for pretribulationism, Gregg now revisits every major proof text in its context, arguing that the doctrine depends more upon assumptions imported into the passages than upon explicit biblical teaching. Drawing from his own experience as a former dispensationalist, he explains how carefully reexamining Scripture caused him to abandon the pretribulational position.
