#house #architecture #housedesign Nestled on a secluded Serifos Island cove, NCaved House by MOLD Architects appears to hover precariously above the sea. The architects were faced with a unique challenge: creating a sheltered space in a location exposed to fierce north winds, while maximizing the breathtaking views. Their solution was as bold as it was ingenious.Rather than building horizontally on the ground, they decided to carve into the slope, creating a three-dimensional "chessboard" of solid and void spaces. This geometric approach not only protected the residence but also provided a sense of seclusion.
