The kiwi duo of four-time Bathurst Champion Murphy and Monaco F2 Grand Prix winner Stanaway made their long-awaited wildcard appearance in the Boost Mobile Erebus Commodore in October. The pair turned heads as they incredibly started fourth and finished 11th despite a significant lack of track time for both drivers over recent years. The unfiltered behind-the-scenes trek from Auckland to Mount Panorama and all the fascinating events that came in between was captured by One Nine Media – and the final documentary was directed and edited by fellow Supercars driver, Team 18’s Scott Pye. Boost Mobile Founder and Executive Chairman Peter Adderton and Boost Mobile Australia General Manager Jason Haynes are the Executive Producers behind the documentary that can now be viewed on the Kayo streaming service and YouTube “Fans will get a raw look at exactly what went on behind the scenes with the wildcard which it’s the most compelling content I’ve seen,” Adderton said. “We want Richie back on the grid and I’m sure once fans see this documentary which shows how he and Murph thrilled fans on and off the track, they’ll know exactly why. “Scott Pye and his team have done an amazing job. “We get to see Murph prepare for his final lap of Bathurst after his incredible career and get to see a side of Richie we have never seen, as he searches for a shot at redemption to kick start his driving career again. “We can’t wait to see the fans reaction now it's up and running on Kayo and YouTube.
