Newsreel: Consecration of Guildford Cathedral 1961

This was the first cathedral to be built on a new site in the South of England since the Middle Ages. It was consecrated by Rt Rev George Reindorp, Bishop of Guildford, on 17 May 1961, in the presence of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
