The price is fixed regardless of the date and time of purchase. Essentially, these are subsidized Aeroflot flights to remote regions of the country. The government is interested in developing affordable air service between the European part of Russia and the Far East. Round-trip ticket prices from Moscow in 2026: Vladivostok - 31,000₽ Khabarovsk - 31,000₽ Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - 31,000₽ Magadan - 33,000₽ Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky - 35,000₽ The key here is to snag them for the dates you need. There is no special section on the Aeroflot website for these fares. Don't confuse them with subsidized flights, as they are only available to certain categories of travelers. We are talking about tickets that are affordable for absolutely everyone. Searching for these tickets is identical to searching for regular tickets on the website's main page: 1) Select Moscow as one of the options, and the desired Far Eastern city as the second. 2) Enter the desired dates. 3) From the options offered, select the "Economy Flat" fare; it will also be the cheapest. If you can't find flat fares, it's one of two things: a) All subsidized flights are already sold out. b) There are no subsidized flights for your dates. Food Any trip to Sakhalin turns into a gastronomic tour, especially if you're a fan of Korean and Japanese cuisine. We visited all the most popular restaurants and filmed a review. Gorny Vozdukh Resort on Sakhalin We skied to the edge of the world! The resort is located within the city limits, and it's just a short walk from our apartment. Since jet lag was still lingering, it was easy for us to wake up in the morning before the rental shop and lifts opened, so we could be among the first to try out the corduroy. Surprisingly, there were very few people in the morning, but by lunchtime, lines for the lifts already formed. There's plenty of room to ski here: the total length of the slopes is about 42 km. The mountains themselves (called "sopka" in the Far East) are not very high, with many flat sections, so I recommend skiing rather than snowboarding. We constantly saw snowboarders struggling on the flat sections, while skiers were able to ski comfortably. Korean Bathhouse SPAradise After skiing, it's a good idea to visit a bathhouse or sauna to soothe those sore muscles. That's where we headed. Everything here is just like a regular Seoul sauna, except for one thing: it's not open 24 hours. Sparadise is open from 12:00 to 23:00, so you can't spend the night there. The system is exactly the same as in Korea: you pay an entrance fee, get a T-shirt and shorts, a towel, and an electronic bracelet with a key for your locker. Next, take off your shoes and put them in a small locker, then go to the locker room, where you take off absolutely everything and put them in another locker. Afterwards, take a shower (keep in mind that shampoos and shower gels are not provided here—you must either bring your own or buy them on site). Then you can soak in the numerous bathtubs and steam in the saunas.
