This video is about how to go about addressing an engine Dexcool coolant leak due to a failed plastic water outlet housing. This video is applicable to GM vehicles using their Ecotec 1.4L turbocharged engine, such as the Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Sonic, Chevrolet Trax, and the Buick Encore. The 1.4L engine's water outlet housing is prone to failure after sufficient mileage and age have accumulated due to the plastic construction. This is a high failure rate part.
