It took a while, but we were finally able to get away for a few days. And because it was a short trip, we stayed in the Netherlands, but it was truly enjoyable. Our tour of fortified towns took us to Hellevoetsluis and Brielle this time, both well worth a visit. We also spent the night in Almkerk on an estate and in the woods in Ermelo.
