Victoria BC: Mamod Brunel Tutorial NOTE: Mamod have improved Brunel, see Description (plz sub/share)

Welcome to the Pencross Railway of Vancouver Island and my detailed operating tutorial, including tips and tricks. This will be very useful for current owners before the recent changes to this engine by Mamod. However, in general, this video will provide useful tips and advice even for those with Brunels that have the latest improvements. Mamod informs me that they have increased the size of the primary vents so raising the boiler a little on a brand new engine is not necessary. They also lengthened the steam regulator. This will help with how hot it gets. My Mamod Brunel is an engine that is easy to modify. I love it for that. I also love geared locomotives. This engine is gauge-adjustable, meaning I can set the wheels to run on my 45 mm gauge track or my 32 mm gauge track. The railcars seen in the video are Swift Sixteen (plus one old Mamod). I love WWII and Great War COBI brick models. They are made in Poland with quality bricks that are compatible with Lego. This is why I often use COBI with my large scale 45 and 32 mm dual gauge live steam locomotives on my elevated deck loop and on my Garden Railway Planter. Happy steaming! Terry
