Cabinet Secretary Teddy: Forest Area Regulation Saves IDR 370 Trillion in State Assets The government continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to law enforcement and eradicating corruption that harms the state. This commitment was emphasized through the distribution of administrative fines, the rescue of state finances, and the recapture of forest areas, stage VI, held at the Attorney General's Office Complex in Jakarta on Friday, April 10, 2026. "On the orders of the President, approximately IDR 11.4 trillion in cash was handed over. What is that? It's fines for all forms of legal violations and corruption in forest areas," said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a statement to the media. According to Cabinet Secretary Teddy, the distribution of these fines is part of a systematic effort that has been implemented since President Prabowo Subianto established the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) last year. To date, the Cabinet Secretary stated that the total cash handed over to the state has reached IDR 31.3 trillion. "Since a year ago, the President established a task force. The total amount of cash handed over to the state to date is approximately IDR 31.3 trillion. This includes cash and assets worth approximately IDR 370 trillion," he said. Furthermore, Cabinet Secretary Teddy emphasized that the imposition of these administrative fines is not merely symbolic, but rather concrete evidence of the government's seriousness in taking firm action against legal violations and corrupt practices in Indonesia. "This is one of many firm, concrete actions, concrete evidence of the government of President Prabowo and his team's commitment to eradicating corruption and all legal violations," Cabinet Secretary Teddy explained.
