Punta Médanos is a spot located in the La Costa district. It's the southernmost point of Cape San Antonio and the easternmost point of the Argentine mainland coast. Here you'll find the Punta Médanos Lighthouse, built in 1893, and also close to the remains of the shipwreck of the Karnak, which ran aground in 1878.
