Growing up in the periphery and getting to university is no small feat. The path is longer, the obstacles are different, and yet, some succeed. This was the case for Ana Beatriz, Reginaldo Oliveira, and Luiz Gustavo, three of the 18 young people in the first class of the Nike and Somos CIEE higher education access program. Ana and Reginaldo graduated in Information Systems, and Luiz Gustavo in Business Administration. Over four years, the program offered full scholarships and financial support so that these young people could overcome the barriers of distance and lack of access. But the story didn't end with the diploma. Ana, Reginaldo, and Luiz were hired and today work in the fields they studied. And you? Do you dream of pursuing higher education?
