Menopause mythbusting, HRT and Endometriosis with Vikram Talaulikar
Menopause and HRT can be tricky for everyone but when it comes to endometriosis it can be especially difficult. Managing it prior to menopause and even afterwards, or after surgery poses challenges. Questions like 'do I need progesterone if I've had a hysterectomy?' are common along with 'I've struggled with endo for years, can I have HRT after mneopause or will it make it worse?' Here, gynaeceologist, reproductive health and menopause specialist, Assoc. Professor Vikram Talaulikar explains the management options. (We're also doing a bit of menopause myth busting too!) Have a listen.
