Preeti and Suryakamal grow closer during this time and even win a dance competition together. Meanwhile, the family faces several emotional moments—Preeti's father leaves due to family politics, and Suryakamal promises to reunite his broken family after his stepmother passes away. As the story moves forward, new problems arise when Suryakamal’s family gets involved in a property dispute. Preeti’s brother-in-law is accused of violence, and secrets come out about the true ownership of the family home. Things turn dark when Ammaji and Ritu murder Suryakamal and hide his body. Preeti is left heartbroken and mistreated, but meets Chandar, a man who looks exactly like her husband. Eventually, Chandar helps uncover the truth of Suryakamal’s murder. In a tragic turn, Preeti is also found dead due to another evil plot.
