Major Problems With Docan LN300 Pre built Lithium Battery - Part 2

This is part 2 of our analysis of the LN300 pre-built LifeP04 batteries from Docan Power. In our first video we found several poor design elements such as hanging wires, difficult to remove battery terminals, temperature sensors not taped down, etc. We briefly go over some of the fixes we made, such as 3d printing new terminal covers and a wire harness support bridge. These issues were easy enough to overcome. However, once we started charging these batteries we discovered very large cell imbalances and they fall into a over-voltage protection state. These Docan lithium batteries are advertised as having a 5 amp active balancer. Our testing has shown that the active balancer is not working at all.
