Ten years ago, China completed the commissioning of the largest, most expensive, most powerful, and most controversial dam in the world: the Three Gorges Dam. The figures are staggering: 185 meters high, over 2 km long, 27 million cubic meters of concrete poured into a structure that cost a record €23 billion...
