Elijah over hears Elena and Caroline discussing the topic at the Grill and after studying the little girl he can't help but see the resemblance. He confronts Elena and she agrees and she apologizes for lying and tells him she tried to get a hold of him when she came to learn of her pregnancy. Matt becomes enraged that his friend is opening herself to vulnerable to Elijah once again when she agrees to let him meet their daughter.
