Allow me to take you on a tour of the quiet little beach town of Englewood, Florida. We begin in downtown Englewood, off of Dearborn Street. Englewood is a small town, with approximately 20,000 people. It stretches from Sarasota to Charlotte County and is has an Old Florida feel. The downtown area is undergoing some renovations and refurbishments, but offers many shops, restaurants and yearly events. EVENTS: The Englewood Farmers Market runs on Thursday's from October thru May. Cruisin on Dearborn Street is held the first Saturday of every month at 5pm and welcomes hundreds of car enthusiasts with a free vintage antique car show. The Englewood Beach Wateriest is a marine racing event that takes place in November each year. We made a stop at Village of Oyster Creek, a condo community that offers boat slips and condos with a community pool. Last, we take you on a speedy walk thru of a fantastic home coming to market on Oregon Trail. We end our at The Lighthouse Grill at Stump Pass.
