Route du Rhum 2022 solo qualification // Season 2022 - Episode 1 //
Solo qualification for Route du Rhum in a Class 40 consists of minimum 1200 nautical miles singlehanded sailing on a route confirmed by the race director. My route was Horta (Azores)- Cherbourg (Normandy), approx. 1350 nm long. I sailed the route in 6 days with average of over 200 nautical miles a day, and qualified for Route du Rhum 2022! I listened to audiobooks of Marcus Aurelius during my journey and decided to use some quotes of this extraordinary human in this video. Enjoy!
