One battleship has been on the bottom of Pearl Harbor since nineteen forty one. Over a thousand men still inside it. The other one ended the war. Japan surrendered on its deck. In nineteen ninety nine the Navy deliberately parked them four hundred yards apart. Bow facing the wreck. Watching over it. That decision almost didn't happen.
