Woman Arrested for 911 Call About DUI Over ‘School Board Feud’ at Safeway

A Colorado woman, Samantha Peck, allegedly called 911 to report a drunk driver who had a kid in their car at a Colorado Safeway on July 24. The Woodland Park Police Department said that they suspected Peck’s report to be false after speaking with the apparent suspect, Katie Illingworth, who appeared to be sober and did not have a child in her car. Illingworth stated that Peck was among a group of petitioners working to recall her husband from the local school board. “She has gotten up in public and said horrible things about my family,” Illingworth said.
