Webinar – Natrium: Latin for Sodium, Big for Advanced Nuclear
TerraPower and GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GEH) recently announced the launch of a new reactor and energy system architecture called Natrium™. On Monday, September 21, ClearPath Executive Director Rich Powell moderated a panel with experts from TerraPower, Duke Energy and Centrus who released the design and explained how they intend to commercialize nuclear stations within the next 10 years. The panel explored how this new advanced nuclear technology will feature a cost-competitive sodium fast reactor combined with a molten salt energy storage system.
