Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, FR: Savoy (1962-2024)

This 1962 Montagner detachable platter is the longer of the two beginner platters, getting you right up to the Planpraz gondola. The lift crosses a bridge and has a slight turn at tower 4. There are 5 towers in total. Estimated speed is 530 fpm (2.69 m/s). Recorded Mar. 4, 2023. SURPRISE: I just learned that this lift was removed and replaced with a GMM platter lift for the 2024-25 season.
