Victory belongs to Allah and His Religion Al-Islam Update: ‘The Great Debate’ was held on Sat 27 April in Melbourne, Australia on the title JESUS God-Man or Servant of God? First of all, All praises are due to Allah swt alone For there’s no success and no victory without the WILL and HELP of Allah swt Alhamdulillah the debate was an amazing success where we were able to distinguish between Tawheed and Shirk; between Jesus being Servant of God and not God-Man “And say, "Truth has come, and falsehood has perished. Indeed is falsehood, [by nature], ever bound to perish." {Al Quran 17:81} Would like to hear the feedback from those who attended the debate, feel free to put your thoughts please Inshallah video of the debate shall be released in coming weeks To the Dawah Team: Inspite of all our personal shortcomings and sins yet Allah is choosing us to represent His religion, which in itself is the blessing Allah on all of us Secondly, I thank all brothers and sisters who have assisted through out the organizing and implementing of the action plan leading to the debate Special thanks to donors and contributors (without you this event couldn’t go ahead) Purely from an organisational point of view, Mashallah it was an amazing event. Full house and well disciplined crowd Alhamdulillah. Lots of interested Christians attended too and engaged in discussions through out the night Hats off to the entire dawah crew for giving their time and efforts all along Finally, in terms of the debate, it was a great success Alhamdulillah Based on the feedback of most people so far, it was very informative and exciting night and the Oneness of Allah swt and true status of Jesus (pbuh) in Islam and Christianity was established Title of the Debate was JESUS God-Man or Servant of God? With evidence we were able to present that Jesus is Servant of God and not God-Man The Christian speaker has been in the field for atleast 15+ years, he has debated Yusuf Estes in the past as well other Muslim debaters over years in Australia. May Allah open the doors of guidance for him and those who attended May Allah count it heavy on the scale of deeds of all of you on the Day of Judgement as you stood for the Deen of Allah (although we shall never be able to do justice to this Deen in our lives) May Allah choose us such that we can glorify the name of our Rabb Allah swt even more
