In our country, there is an event where you can meet the protagonists of the changes of our time, representatives of religions and cultures, managers and officials, intellectuals and artists, athletes, and people with experiences to share. It is the Rimini Meeting. Hundreds of conferences and speakers, dozens of exhibitions and shows, 800,000 attendees: for more than four decades, it has been a place of encounter, dialogue, and peace among people of different peoples, cultures, and faiths. The Meeting is also an event that is broadcast live using new technologies: all conferences are broadcast in Italian, English, and Spanish on the website and the Meeting Rimini YouTube channel, and are subsequently available in other languages. The essential tool for accessing the Meeting is the Meeting Rimini app, available for iPhone, Android, and Huawei smartphones. Over eight thousand speakers have participated in the Meeting conferences since 1980. Among them are Nobel laureates, world leaders, and saints such as Mother Teresa and John Paul II. A constant presence are exhibitions, photography, scientific, and historical shows, and insights into pressing contemporary issues, as well as performances, to give voice to the powerful and universal call of beauty. The Meeting also features the Children's Village, a large space with exhibitions, theater, workshops, and events, and the Sports Village, with its 13,000 square meters of playing fields. For each edition, three thousand volunteers from Italy and around the world come to Rimini to organize, set up, manage, and then dismantle the Meeting.
