Plastic Part Design Series Episode 9 - Adding a Lip Groove and Reveal #Fusion360 #Design
In this video we start to get into designing specific plastic part features. Creating a Lip and Groove between two joining bodies is a key step to ensure that once assembled the shapes match. Because nothing is perfect we also use a Reveal, or small gap between the two to make sure we hide any minor differences in part shapes.
