Janani Award 2026 to be Conferred on Amma at Amritapuri As part of the 11th Remembrance Day of Bharat Ratna Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation (APJAKIF) will confer the Janani Award 2026 upon Amma in recognition of her extraordinary contributions to humanitarian service, compassion, and social transformation. The ceremony will be held on 23 July 2026 at 3:00 PM at Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Amritapuri, Keralam. The programme will be graced by Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Hon'ble Governor of Keralam & Tamil Nadu, as the Chief Guest, while Shri Ramesh Chennithala, Hon'ble Minister for Home Affairs, Keralam, will attend as the Guest of Honour. The event will also feature the official launch of Janani 2026, APJAKIF's nationwide women's empowerment movement under the theme "Every Voice Matters," along with the unveiling of the official poster of "Kalam's Angel," an AI-assisted inspirational film based on the vision and values of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
