Because my diy circle cutter for the router didn't fit, I had to build a new one at lightning speed, with which I could mill the particularly small radius. I am delighted with the simple device, it works precisely and reliably. What was a bit of a pain: the acacia was no longer dark throughout after sanding. Acacia is the only affordable dark wood available in DIY stores and is perfectly suitable for small handicrafts, but the wood proved to be extremely unpredictable for this project. Due to the video shoot, I hadn't taken enough time to select the pieces of wood. For the striped effect, I had to do it myself afterwards and darken one area with paint. Last but not least, a corner broke off when I was chamfering the edges. However, the corner could be repaired surprisingly well, so you can't see it anymore. I only remembered it when I was editing the video! The project was fun, educational and I know what to look out for next time! There would also have been enough space for a box twice as wide...
