I performed Gazebo's "I Like Chopin." This piece is captivating for its beautiful atmosphere, evoking the gentle, steady fall of rain right from the intro. In Japan, it is widely known through the cover version by Asami Kobayashi, titled "Amaoto wa Chopin no Shirabe" (The Sound of Rain is the Melody of Chopin). It is said that Gazebo, who wrote the lyrics, drew inspiration from the poignant romance between Chopin and his lover, George Sand. I wanted to post this video while the rainy season was still ongoing. I played with all my heart, aiming to capture the mellow, atmospheric mood of a rainy day through the piano's tone.
