Among 3-cylinder engines, some of the most important are the 0.9 TCE 90hp, as well as the 1.0 T GDI. These small 1.0 EcoBoost and 1.2 PureTech engines, along with the 1.0 TCE and 1.0 VTEC, are the current standard and, as such, represent the bulk of the engines on the road.
