Mexico is a major player, but the Dominican Republic and other destinations, especially in the Americas, are also attracting attention. Some African and Asian destinations also stood out. The Spanish stands were more understated, although some were quite striking. Europe was very similar to last year in terms of destination participation and popularity. There were no queues for entry, as many official events were cancelled. This year there were parking problems because the parking area had been substantially reduced due to construction. There was a Fast Track lane for accessing the fair on trade days. In case you didn't know, we have a very comprehensive video with tips for visiting Fitur, published a couple of days ago. The Spanish stands were a bit more subdued than usual, with less participation from Spanish authorities due to the special circumstances of the train accident in Córdoba. The accident was commemorated with a minute of silence or words of support at most of the opening ceremonies at the fair's stands. Spanish Pavilions: Some stands were in line with previous years, and several were returning, such as Cantabria and the Basque Country. Galicia had a nice stand, perhaps a little dark. The opposite of Rioja, completely white. And Asturias, green, which is its color. The Madrid stand is good. It catches the eye with robotic arms moving screens. The Canary Islands stand is also good and has a good number of visitors. We don't know if Castilla y León will be chosen as the Fitur stand in the Spain category, but they've already hung a sign that says "the sky has chosen us." A curious and beautiful stand, as always. The Navarra stand is original. The other Spanish autonomous communities in Hall 9 are: Euskadi, Cantabria, and the autonomous city of Melilla, this year with an open stand. In Hall 7, the Valencian Community stands out with a large stand, while Castilla-La Mancha and Murcia each have two illuminated stands. Extremadura is very much in line with its recent years, promoting natural products. Aragón has an original, very vibrant stand. Catalonia and the Balearic Islands are similar to last year. Andalusia is less lively than in previous years. The circumstances have been very difficult for the Andalusian Tourism Offices, which have suspended many of their events and participations due to the tragic accident in Adamuz. Our thoughts are with you. Americas – Pavilion 3 As for international stands, Mexico, Fitur's partner country, stood out above all others, for the first time with all its states represented. The stand was divided into several sections, but overflowing with color and people. It is said that the Mexican delegation consisted of 2,500 people. Mexico's stand is a constant buzz of activity, with performances and events following one another seamlessly. Only the Dominican Republic keeps pace, although without the same intensity. Some other stands from the Americas, always bright and colorful, include Colombia, Cuba, Peru, Panama, Chile, Ecuador, and Costa Rica. Argentina fared somewhat better this year. The United States is also present, with several of its states, although with a limited institutional presence. Europe is similar to previous years. Among the most anticipated are Portugal, above all others. In Europe, Portugal boasts the largest stand, showcasing all its regions. Also present are Andorra, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Norway, Czech Republic, Georgia, Bulgaria, Albania, and Turkey, along with Israel. This year, twelve international shipping companies will be present, the highest number to date. Africa and the Middle East – Hall 6 Countries such as Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Mauritania, and the Seychelles stand out. Jordan and Egypt are also represented. Asia-Pacific – Hall 8 China, Japan, and India are prominent, and the stands of Korea, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Maldives, and Malaysia were also very popular. The corporate pavilions highlight the most important aspects of the tourism sector. In Hall 10 you'll find major transport companies like Iberia, Renfe, and airlines... 00:00 Introduction 00:29 Fitur 2026 00:43 Hall 9 - Spain 04:08 Hall 7 - Spain 05:44 Hall 5 - Andalusia 06:42 Hall 3 - Americas 09:43 Interviews - Americas 12:17 Hall 4 - Europe 14:09 Interviews - Europe 17:29 Africa and the Middle East 19:40 Interview - Tuni...
