In Session 1, architects Kazuyo Sejima and Yoshiharu Tsukamoto explored the present-day significance of architecture and its future potential in the light of Fujimoto’s work, using the contents of the exhibition as a departure point for discussion. In Session 2, Tanaka Hitoshi and Miyata Hiroaki discussed the relationship between architecture and local communities, and the future of community development as exemplified by projects in which they are deeply involved, such as the Shiroiya Hotel (2020, Gunma, Japan) and Co-Innovation University (2024, Gifu, Japan).
