Joaquin Murphey Steel Guitar Budget Sessions-Plainsmen & Outpost Scotty

These are some of budget Tops label session that feature Joaquin Murphey.I have mastered them from the records in the photos and not from any CDs.The first one is from Outpost Scotty,(since posting this it has been brought rightly to my attention that this is not Joaquin) Still a great (Hank Snow) song,does anyone know who Outpost Scotty was?) It is always a chore to find any info on the people behind the fake names that were listed on the labels.Every-time I hear this song I think it sounds like Deuce Spriggens singing.He was a member of Tex Williams Caravan with Joaquin around the time this would have been recorded 1946 or 47 ? so it would make some sense.The next 4 songs come from the EP. These were also released on 45 and a 10" LP. All 4 songs are by Ozie Waters & Andy Parker and the PLainsmen.These are all alternate takes from the original Coast Records sessions.
