This week on the farm, we're getting down to business with sowing the canning peas 🌱 We started by loosening the soil with a CML subsoiler to improve its structure. Then, we prepared the seedbed with a vibro-terrestrializer to create a finely tilled surface. Once the field was ready, the contractor came in to sow the canning peas with a pneumatic seeder, ensuring precise and even planting. The weather cooperated: about 6 mm of rain fell after sowing, perfect for germination. The very next morning, I was able to start weeding.
