Highlights from the installation of Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe as UCT’s sixth chancellor

UCT installed Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe as its sixth chancellor at an official ceremony hosted at the CTICC. Although Moloi-Motsepe has been chancellor since 1 January 2020, her installation and investiture were delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic. She was officially installed as Chancellor of the University of Cape Town at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Friday, 10 December. The chancellor is the titular head and representative of the university, and confers degrees in its name.
